US Homeland Security is expected to buy up to $20m in gloves amid criticism of the president's immigration crackdown.
The US immigration agency is buying enforcement officers and agents $20m worth of gloves, which the maker says are safe when properly used.
The Department of Homeland Security described the gloves as a “de-escalation device,” but critics said they could encourage agents to use more force.
